Advance Textile Design

Our Advance Textile Design is a highly creative program to equip you with the skills, attributes, and passion you need to work within the broad, fast-paced, exciting world of textiles and surface design. The curriculum is Live instructor-led and delivered through one-to-one interaction, which will allow you to develop designing skills at your comfort and ease. 

In the initial steps, we will introduce you to the different aspects of textile design through a combination of traditional and new technology. Such as dye, screen printing, digital print processes, embroidery and will also explore design through material knowledge and exploration. 

As you progress through the course, you will also master the art of surface design and gain technical expertise in creating seamless pattern repeats to apply in different kinds of textiles.

Each week will be composed of lively online sessions, discussions, individual assignments, and personal feedback from your mentor. In support of your practice, you will prepare an extensive, industry-centric portfolio and will be ready to create sellable designs.

Do I need to Know how to use Adobe Photoshop in order to do the course? 

• It is not mandatory to know Adobe Photoshop in advance. But if you have an understanding of Adobe Photoshop then it will be a win-win situation. 

Do I need to be a pro in sketching? 

• No, not necessarily! Surface Pattern Design is all about exploration and you can make prints out of doodles and scribbles too. 

How Soon will I be able to start my own business? 

• As a part of the program, we help you identify the market, pitch your portfolio and kick start your business in the print industry.

Do I need to be from a textile or a Design Background to join this Course?

• No. Not required. You can pursue this course if you’re willing to enter into the world of textiles and Surface Design.
